Does anyone know what key the original Sicilienne & Rigaudon by Francoeur
was written in? I have the Bonade 16 Grand Solos book which it is in A
minor, but the Summit Records "Tarantelle" Recording by Bob Spring
( http://www.mp3.com/robertspring ) is playing it in B Minor (which
doesn't lay nearly as easily!) Easy in A minor, pretty difficult in B.
Guessing that the Bonade ver. is the transposed one, but since the book is
not designed to be easy, not sure why the difference in keys.

Yes? (and you can hear it played by bob at that url - lots of double
tonguing for almost a page)
