To clarify ( and I agree I could have been more specific): The Selmer
tuning rings have a larger outside diameter (fits the tenon) and a smaller
inside diameter (should fit the bore). The Buffet's are smaller outside
and larger inside, so the ring of material is smaller (laterally). I hope
you can visualize this, since I can't draw a picture.
