I like the Yamaha TD-1. Bought mine last year for £40 (GBP). Negative point is that it does not
produce a tone. Plus point is that you can set it for the pitch of your instrument (Bb, Eb, F, or C)
and it will display the note fingered instead of concert pitch. (of course these are both the same
for a C instrument but if I don't say that here, someone would no doubt point it out for me...)
