Also by Korg is the CA-20. It has an Led display but is very much cheaper
than the Korg AT-1. The response time and range are both very good. The
CA-20 also easily fits in my clarinet case.

The Korg AT-1 is a compact, inexpensive model that has served me well
for a decade. It has a sweep meter, as opposed to an LED readout or
some of the other less clear displays. Stay away from the models with
"dancing lights" that flit back & forth to tell you whether or not you
are in tune. Personally, they make me dizzy, and they are not as intui-
tive with respect to determing your intonation relative to a calibrated
standard.
