Friends,
I`m afraid "the man himself" has proved to be not punctual with his promise.
I don`t think that I can pester him any longer, so what I`ll do is this. I
will speak to a music retailer near my home, then if agreeable, I will pass
on _that_ address etc for you to deal direct. I will do that tomorrow -
Monday, so I should be able to let you know something again by Tues, or Wed.
(that is if the boss is not away in the Bahamas).
I will _not_ be playing Colonel Bogey to _any_ bosses I tell you, by the
way. Over here (in U.K.) _that_ tune is not greeted with too much respect. I
expect the "Few" of you who went thru` W.W. II over here in U.K. will know
what I`m talking about. Maybe no one outside of U.K. will understand
anymore? That`s the next competition. Please e-mail me privately with the
solution. The winner will get to meet Mrs Margaret Thatcher and play it to
her fronting the Glenn Miller Orchestra (U.K.)!!!! (Yes - we have one over
here. Under license of course. Not a bad band, regularly doing the Barbican
and Festival Hall concert halls in London).
Speak soon then - - -
Best,
Tony W.
