You must mean R3, not R1, otherwise you're slurring to an F (according to
the fingering diagram you provided). I also wonder if you mean what your
language here suggests: that clarion B, C, and D on your instrument are
all generally stuffy, while your G resonates with clarity. If this is
the case, your goal should be not to match the G to the tone of the three
lower notes, but to determine how to make those three lower notes match
the G. Do you experience a similar difference in tone between chalumeau
E, F, and G when compared to chalumeau C? Perhaps you have a pad leak in
your lower joint.
