Pitch control on the clarinet *without* fiddling around with pulling
out/in, etc. is much more feasible than many players seem to think -
playing over the years in numerous environments with dubious temperature
control has given me some skill in this -- if not much else(?!?!?)
Don't ask me how, though --- it's a bit like asking a centipede how he
walks.......
