I just got back from my daughter's home coming game and I can still hear
those danged drums and trumpets. But since you haven't got a reply yet I'll
try as best I can in my present state of mind (whats left of it). First go
up a perfect fifth ( C will be a G, etc.). The accidentals may give you fits
at first, but they too go up a perfect fifth. This part may be easier to
see/understand if you have access to a keyboard. Find a copy of the circle
of fifths. For your key signature, go clockwise one step from whats written.
If your piece is in Bb (two flats), your new key will be F (one flat). If
the piece is in C, your new key will be G ( one sharp). It may be awkward at
first but with a little practice it happens naturaly. Hope this helps.
