Something I use to clean my mouthpiece occasionally is either Lime-Away or
CLR. My tech told me the deposits are actually calcium based and either one
of these solutions will take out the mouthpiece gunk. Just soak your
mouthpiece for a few minutes then use a mouthpiece brush to clean it, then
rinse it out THOROUGHLY and your mouthpiece should clean up really well.
Someone once said that they would not use this because they were afraid of
ingesting it. As I said, rinse THOROUGHLY then dry it and you will not have
any problems.
