While everyone may have different solutions depending on their personal
needs, for me the best solution was to get a separate pair of single vision
glasses with the prescription set for the distance of the typical music
stand. This way I have the full field of view for the music. The conductor
ends up being a little fuzzy but I can still see him well enough to follow
his direction.
