Dan,

Is this a common mistake with K622? On both my Eulenberg mini-score and my Boosey & Hawkes clarinet
part, the F# in bar (measure) 109 is not cancelled for the sixth note and so the sharp should
(according to these editions) be carried over to the sixth note.

I own 2 recordings of this piece. One is on loan at present, and I can't remember the soloist, but
am fairly sure I would have noticed if this was played as an F natural (I've always played it as per
my edition above). The other is Emma Johnson with the English Chamber Orchestra. She also plays the
F#.

To me, your post implied that it was a mistake only on one (or a very few) editions. How could such
a mistake have found its way into so many performances? Or is the "correct" version (in absence of
Urtext) a relatively recent find?

Regards

Ian
