I use Ben Franklin style reading glasses. When reading up close I can push
them up so that I don't have to tip my head back.. I usually get the types
that have spring tension on the legs so that they don't slip while playing.

I use full size reading glasses. They can also be used around the house. I
use them for instrument repair. They seem easier on my eyes. Make sure the
music is well lit.
