Here I sit with a collection of mouthpiece blanks and other re workable =
older mouthpieces, drinking in this discussion. So many variations to =
try! My experience is mostly fixing or modifying manufactured mouthpieces =
for area players. Making a mouthpiece from Zinner and Babbitt blanks is a =
relatively new adventure, and only sold my first personally designed MP =
last week! Watch out Gregory Smith,,,another 3264 and I will catch up =
with you!
We all need to re-read our favorite "mail order" catalog and stare at the =
enormous variety and manufacturers of clarinet mouthpieces. Are they all =
great or all bad? Depends... =20
The learning curve and financial investment in MP working should scare =
most of us off. I guess I am stubborn.
Sincerely,
Dave
