Migraine Sufferers -

I just talked with my daughter, Lisa, who, unfortunately has been a migraine
sufferer for a number years. Lisa, a violinist, is a research "nut" who has
researched migraines extensively. Briefly, her suggestion and comments are
as follows:

1. Pain killers are ineffective in treating most migraines. (And, codeine
is highly addictive.)

2. Find a doctor or specialist who is knowledgeable concerning the latest
migraine treatments.

3. Inderal (Propranolol) 10MG is one prescription drug that has been
effective.

4. Imitrix (Sumatriptin) is another prescription drug that has been very
effective. Originally, this was by injection only, but is now available in
pill form. A nasal spray form will be coming to market soon. (Lisa uses
the pill form.)

5. There is a ton of information on the internet and in libraries.

Any doctors on the list care to add some migraine treatment information?
