Probably. I understand that Greg has an approach to reeds........maybe he
could share that here.

All I do with the V12 3.5's that I play is simply seal the cane properly,
balance the tip slightly if needed and store them in a holder that has
grooves under the reed so that it dries evenly and therefore avoids excessive
warpage. They are really well proportioned and are considered, in the scheme
of things, to be quite medium strength reeds.
