Neil says:

<<In my case, I literally go blind in one eye -- sometimes both -- when a migraine headache is
about to occur. This warning (a rather potent one, eh?) is called an "aura" (it's different for different people) and, in my case, gives me the oppor-
tunity to mitigate the ensuing agony.>>

I experience a "limiting" of my eyesight, as if I were looking down the wrong end of a telescope. My peripheral vision seems to disappear. Forget about overhead, it's gone.....Neil, is this the same thing?

This is waht happens to me under flourescent lights. I have been known to abandon my wive in mid-grocery shopping. Getting outside, especially to daylight really helps, if I do it fast enough.

If I don't, I literally have to go to bed to get rid of the resulting headache.

Down with Flourescent lights!!!!! Storm the Bastille!!! Up the Revolution!!!!

Whatever.....anyway, if you get headaches from fluorescent lights, you are not alone. Hey, lets' start a mail-list and a support group!!!!!

Walter
