Katie.....I get BAD headaches under unshielded fluorescent lights, clarinet or no!

What do I do? I wear a baseball cap a lot, to sheild my eyes from the light coming from above.

This is a medically known syndrome and afflicts a small number of people. The fluorescent lights at school bother my son enough so that the teacher has offered to keep a visor available for him to use in the classroom.

Curiously enough, if the fluorescent lights are sheilded by that bumpy plastic stuff, the headaches do not appear, or are not as bad.
