The same can be said about the conductor we have at the local band here =
in Maartensdijk. Yet I never have played with a more lousy conductor. A =
very nice fellow, before he retired he played horn in one of our great =
military orchestras. But he can absolutely not conduct. Maybe that is, =
why he is so good for this band, on the one side, and why he wants to =
stay with it, on the other: the band too is lousy. But we all do what we =
can, and enjoy it.
