breve = double whole
semibreve = whole
minim = half
crotchet = quarter
quaver = eighth
semiquaver = sixteenth (semi for short)
demisemiquaver = 32nd (demisemi)
hemidemisemiquaver = 64th (hemidemi)
semihemidemisemiquaver = 128th
etc.... (phew!)
