Roger,
Sounds like you had a great experience playing Celebration Overture. I do
recall Paul Creston being a really nice gentleman and I enjoyed playing under
him for that performance. I can't recall anything by Creston that I have not
liked playing or hearing. He writes especially well for the saxophones in
the context of the band sound. Super composer.
