Oh dear, I go away for a few days and what do I find when I come back late at
night? A pixel storm!

On the good side: Gat€$' fortun€ has apparently $hrunk $ignificantly
recently....

On the bad side: Tony seems to have lost his will to contribute to our
musical and human development.

I've been aware of your tendency to call the shots as you see them ever since
I talked to you in the interval of a concert of a certain music group at the
Wigmore Hall (in 1975/6?) and your comment was that it sounded like a bunch
of [censored] trying to play music instruments.

I don't understand you any more than Roger G probably does. And I have
criticized your "impoliteness" in the past. But thinking about it now, I can
remember occasions where I suffered more from somebody's "polite" but less
direct and honest comments. Different people suffer from differents things in
different situations.....

Tony, you know that I have enjoyed and learned from your thoughts and
experience. Thank you!

David

P.S. Please correct me if I'm wrong but it wouldn't seem like *you* to give
up on the "few" because of the "others", would it?
P.P.S. In case I am wrong, I'm sending this to you privately as well. And now
to bed!
