Subj: [kl] finding recordings

Does anyone know of a site similar to the All Music Guide at

http://www.allmusic.com

but with better-organized, more complete classical composer listings? That
site is outstanding for jazz and rock. It's usually pretty good for finding
out what a classical performer has recorded, although I've found some errors
and omissions in those listings. The site is frustrating, though, if the
object is to search under a composer's name and find out who has recorded a
particular work. The site usually lists these recordings alphabetically by
title, with the catalogue number, including links to lists of the other
*contents* of those albums, but doesn't say *who plays on them* unless the
name of a soloist or conductor happens to be in the *title* of the LP or CD!
Maddening! Any suggestions for a more useful site for searching by composer?

Lelia
