Bill Revelli used cornets on cornet parts and trumpets on trumpet
parts.......so he had 10 cornets and 4 trumpets.

The sound of his band was legendary.

But keep in mind, the approach to playing a cornet is much different than a
trumpet. Too many people play the cornet as they would a trumpet, and it
doesn't work.
