Hi list.

I've already replied off-list to Dan, but I think it is important to clarify what I meant in my
"Flames" post.

When I said that it was refreshing that Dan was not featured in the flames this time, I hadn't
realised the ambiguity of my statement. I had not meant to accuse Dan of flaming. Quite the opposite
in fact - I was making an observation based on my perception that Dan has been on the receiving end
of flames on this list. I may be completely wrong, but I _perceived_ that he had been the subject of
(IMO) flaming a while ago. I see Dan as a flamee rather than a flamer.

Sorry, Dan, for the confusion, and I trust that this clarifies things.

Regards

Ian
