I read all these notes between us and wonder if we have forgotten =
something learned early in life. Share the shovel in the sand box and =
say please and thank you.=20

We need an 'ego' to have the confidence to play in public and overcome our =
own personal sense of inadequacies when humbled my the music, the =
clarinet, the reed, and our imperfections as humans. However the sense =
of EGO, at times, seems to cause us to have thin emotional skin and =
overreact. Face to face interactions often softene, through body =
language, what our mouths say. However with only the written word...

As much as we poke at each other, remember, we all have reed problems, =
non-perfect mouthpieces, and impossible technical demands from composers! =
However, where is the growth without the challenge. =20

Coffee number three and finally awake... I have a great reed this morning =
and no concerts until Saturday! Better enjoy it for the memories!
