A thoroughly English observer (with a little Scottish descendancy) certainly
does NOT think of Americans as unwashed, nor uneducated, nor anything else
derogative. But as Ann Satterfield pleads, do "let it go" now, please. Give
us _now_ the wealth of all your clarinet knowledge.
What is the MOST DIFFICULT piece (technically) of "good, well constructed"
clarinet writing EVER, excluding the Mozart concerto last movement, which is
possibly an editors alteration? " 20, and 21st cent music admissible, but no
helicopters.
