Gentlemen--
of the ad hominem *discussion*.

There is no question in my mind that you each have a strong interest
(dare i add *love*) of music and the clarinet specifically. The evidence
is in your participation here.

One of the best features of this list is the wide variety of background
and experience of the members. Much of what we discuss is difficult to
put into words.

We all benefit most when we stick to the ISSUES in the sense of
topic/point/question
--which ARE important--
and refrain from assigning motives, questioning competency of those who
we don't agree with.

I respect (and like) and have gotten good information from each
participant.

One trait that seems to be common to all of the participants in the "Ad
hominum" thread are fluent verbal people who are good at
arguement/discussion and like to get in the last word.
Be a hero. Let it go.

Ann Satterfield
(who dislikes emotional conflict

and is now hoping that i do not become the new target).
