That's one of several definitions of what ad hominem attack means. For the
record, I and many others think it is exactly what you do here.

BTW, Kevin probably has you 10 times over on the education Tony. You
really don't need to educate him. Don't you wish you knew as much about
his area of law as he knows about your area of music?
