Subj: [kl] Recital Announcement
Date: Thu, 28 Sep 2000 04:49:12 -0400

Hi folks!

I'm out of lurking from my 60+ hour a week day job, and 30+ hour practici=
ng to
announce my recital. (Excuse the typos that may occur in this posting, as=
it
is 4:50 A.M. here, and I am still at work from yesterday morning!)

I have tried my best this year to keep my recital off of all major holida=
ys,
religious and national. If I have picked a date that conflicts with somet=
hing,
I apologize, in advance. (Last year, I had my recital on Yom Kippur -
September 19th. I was repaid in turn by Hurricane Floyd crashing my dress=

rehearsal!) I am hoping on a good turnout, despite what my mother says ab=
out
crowds being dangerous! <grin>.

The cost is $10 ($5 for students and seniors) but I will arrange for comp=

tickets for any list members who e-mail me at least a few days in advance=
=2E
Better yet...if you print this e-mail out and bring it, I'll tell the per=
son
taking tickets to redeem the e-mail for up to 4 people. How's that for
convenient?

The program is listed below, and my accompanist is FABULOUS! I felt as
comfortable with her at the first rehearsal/reading as I did with my
accompanist last year at my recital (in other words, I'm excited!) The sp=
ace,
which is Ann Goodman Recital Hall (in the Merkin Hall complex) is really =
nice
also.

(Note to Mark C. - could you post this on the announcements page too? Tha=
nks
in advance!)

Again, please come hear me play, blah blah blah, all that jazz...
