Subj: [kl] Correct measurments/Evolution reeds

Guy Legree very gently pointed out confusion
with my measurement in a private post. Upon review
I realized the machine was set up so 0=200 thousandths
when the dial spins around twice 200 thousandth reads 0..
I had never used this device in this manner before.
Bridge bearing never give reading that cause more then
one spin .100.

So if I subtract this offset of .200 I obtain the correct
readings in thousandths of inches. That will teach me to
try to use a new measuring technique while rushing
out the door to a gig.

These are correct: .001 of an inch.

taken over back of reed, uncut blank area
over table:

Regular V12 Evolution
.113 .124 .117
.110 .126 .119
.108 .125 .118

Taken at a pencil mark made 1 cm from tip to .001 inch.

.124 .127 .125
.123 .126 .125
.124 .127 .125
