Hello Alessandro,
You entered into the genuine and friendly spirit of klarinet with gusto -
thank you. You`ve got a few more "names" now though, after several other
listers contributed also.
I`m but a very small contributor to the list, and I can tell you that ideas
bounce back and forth with exuberance.
So - CHARGE IN WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT. We are discussing 15 to 40 year old
instruments at present, (amongst other stuff).
And we have 1 or 2 extremely eminent clarinettists in here, so you`re in
very apt and similar company.
_I`ve_ now got to give the rest of the list a lesson, (so I`m told) as you
answered pretty fast.

Here it is - Daphnis and Chloe. Ravel. Ist clarinet in A. 4/4. Moderato,
eighth note @-----. 48 x 32nd notes in each measure, in four
groups of 12 in each group. (So they are not strict 32nds - faster in fact).
G (above F top line), down to Eb,up to F,Db,Eb.down to Bb,up to Db, down to
G, up Bb,Db,Eb,F, then start the sequence again x 4. Got that? Try it before
you read on. Don`t look - - - -DON`T LOOK - - - --
Keep L.H. little (pinky) finger down _all_ thro` the sequence on Db and hey
presto, the whole thing becomes easy. Intonation is not important at that
speed. "Even ears of the perfect pitch variety will not hear the errors" -
(private joke Allessandro, with a stalwart, yet valued contributor).
