The most unusual experience I have had with music vis the animal kingdom was
many years ago as a raw beginner. My dog, Cathy, would keep rhythm with her
tail while I played. She never howled or cried; just clunked her tail on
the hardwood floor of my bedroom. Flop-flop, flop-flop...A more sympathetic
ear I have not known.
