Dave,

Although she can produce a sound and cover the holes of your Eb, it may be
difficult for her when she makes the transition to Bb. I started when I was
7. I was a big kid with big hands, and I remember it was a stretch for me to
reach the RH little finger keys. But this is one man's opinion/experience;
let's see what the collective wisdom has to say.
