Charles Bay taught for some years at Ithaca college. He does have a DMA =
in clarinet performance (from Eastman?). That may have been in the mid =
to late 60's. I know that Charles Bay was located in Los Angeles as =
early as 1969 or 1970 when I was a high school student at Redlands HS.

The Ithaca mouthpieces were made from Chedeville blanks and were =
relatively conservative compared to the mouthpieces that Charlie makes =
now. Most of the Ithacas I have seen are excellent mouthpieces.
