Hi everyone,

Just a quick notice for anyone in the Toronto area. I'm doing a recital
next Tuesday, September 26, with noted mezzo-soprano Linda Maguire and
Stephen Ralls on piano (he's head of the opera school here at UofT). We're
doing a trio aria from "La Clemenza" by Mozart, she has Gluck and Mozart
arias, I'm doing a sonata arrangement of the Mozart Oboe Quartet (works
quite well but PLEASE don't tell the double reed list on me!) as well as
Weber's florid Variations Op.33 and a beautiful Schubert Sonatina. Oh, and
I almost forgot the inevitable...Schubert Shepherd on the Rock! It's quite
spectacular to hear Linda, a mezzo, soar in this soprano-range piece.

Concert's at 8 PM at First Unitarian Church, 175 St.Clair Ave.West, SW
corner of St.Clair and Avenue Road (go to St.Clair West subway, take the
St.Clair streetcar East a few short stops to Avenue road).
