Ouch. That does sting a bit. But there have been moments when I
didn't select the perfect words for my posts either, so I shouldn't
grump....
Just for the record, I did buy the printed music today. I was
worried about the expense because someone mentioned $50 for a Nielsen
concerto a few weeks ago; but it turns out that you get Weber, Schumann,
Mendelssohn and Brahms -- all for $14.95 including separate clarinet
parts.
It will take me a few days to struggle my way through this music. I
hope I will come up with some meaningful question or comment eventually.
Obviously this music is way too advanced for me, but a person must begin
somewhere....
But Tony, or anybody else, if you feel inclined to explain
something to me, I _do_ listen.
And the 'bothered' part? Well.... I did buy a professional
instrument recently and I put my plastic horn up for sale. Hopefully
this suggests that I care a little bit about music.
Cheers,
Bill
