Well, I didn't mean it quite like that. I meant, that you wouldn't be
likely to be convinced that the indication meant a very specific thing
in this case.
And I certainly wouldn't encourage you to 'leave it alone,' if you're a
clarinet player. After all, it's a major work, one of our few. It
sprang to mind as something that everyone here would be likely to know.
