mailing list, so please forgive the repetition. What does the K preceding
the number of Mozart's compositions (as in "K 622") stand for. I know it's
the man who cataloged Mozart's works, but I thought it was Kochel while my
teacher maintains that it is Kalmus. Can anyone help?

Your Clarinet teacher didn't know???? Hmmm. Are you studying with a High
School student? No to belittle High School students, but for a teacher of
music to not know what K. in Mozart means is basically criminal.
