Tony, of course you know David Atherton. When you conducted the San
Diego and I played the basset horn for you, he was the orchestra's
regular conductor. I think he hired you. It was I who fired you!!

Besides, he is an English clarinet player. How can you possibly have
missed him. Or are you putting us on???
