Technically it is quite difficult - lots of sharps, very high range in
places - very challenging to the clarinetist. I can't speak for the piano
part - my pianist had it in hand at the first rehearsal.
The ensemble is not a great problem - it's pretty straightforward. In
three movements, the piece lasts about 9 minutes, so it's not a big
project in terms of length.
