Subj: [kl] seeking age of Buffet Evette clarinet predating E-11 and E-13

I am seeking the age of an old clarinet marked "Evette sponsored by Buffet
Paris France" with what is apparently the serial number C5239 on the lower
piece. Both pieces have D27 marked under the keywork. I have looked at
the "How old is my..." page on Sneezy.org under Buffet, but none of the
serial number designations seem to be in the format "C" followed by four
numbers, so maybe the serial number designation C5239 is special to Evette.
Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
