A side note on bass clarinets. The older LeBlanc's (I am not sure about the
newer ones) have a cork on the wood under the part of the gooseneck receiver.
To check the condition or replace it, you must unscrew the little screws
that hold the neck receiver in place then pull the receiver off. Sometimes
if you have response problems on your LeBlanc, that cork might have become
thin and air will leak.
