Subj: [kl] ClarinetFest as an audience?

Is ClarinetFest an 'easier' or 'harder' audience for a clarinetist
than the typical concert audience is?

Perhaps "harder" because the audience knows what to listen for,
what is 'good' and what is 'bad', what a nice dark tone sounds like; and
perhaps the audience is jaded by having heard the standard clarinet
pieces so many times already.
Or perhaps it's an easier audience because you're playing to your
own kind, and the audience is more enthusiastic and responsive and
pre-disposed to cheer you on?
