Knowing that something can be done is half the battle. As you work through
what I call the "finger twisters," you will find passages that require
sliding to be played at all. It does take time and practice but it is well
worth it. So don't cheat on these little one and two bar exercises. Do
each one over and over until you can do it fluidly. Don't fall into the
"that's good enough" mentality on these.
