I'm always amazed looking back 30 or more years now and finding out that
those high school & college teachers were right: "Do the analysis of one
part, expand it to the whole, and you'll have a real understanding of the
concepts". Works in literature, works in science, works in math, and and now
I'm hearing it works in music. Sometimes a lot of effort, but I know it gets
easier with practice.
