Stanley Hasty taught me to make reeds during my first year at Eastman, and
I've never looked back. I have much more controll over my reeds than I
would if I were playing store-bought reeds. I highly reccommend learning
reedmaking to any serious clarinet student. Even if you end up playing
other reeds, what you learn from reedmaking is invaluable to adjusting
store-bought reeds.

Rob Dilutis makes excellent machinery for reedmaking, too.
