Last year I mentioned making reeds, during rests in shows, out of douglas fir
that was left in the pit by the carpenters, and having to use it to play exit
music or you had to buy a round of drinks for the rest of the reed section,
(after the show, of course). Has anyone else tried other woods and found
anything else that works?
