should point you in the direction of some instructions as to how to get rid of this virus. N.B. the
simplest way is to download and install a demo/time limited version of one of the virus scanning
programs. It's also a VERY GOOD IDEA to download the microsoft patch to Outlook/Outlook Express
which will prevent malicious code like this from doing any damage. There's a link to it from the
symantec page which deals with the KAK virus.

I had this one and contained it and got rid of it without any real problems. I was at the time
running an old version of Dr. Solomon which picked it up. My father-in-law tried several times to
disinfect his PC but it was only when he installed NAV (Norton Anti-virus) 2000 that he was finally
clean.

Do be careful when you send emails, though, because until you've removed it from your system,
everyone you send an email to could potentially be infected.
