I know nothing about Bernstein's feelings on this matter, only that, on
the video tape made at the time of the recording, Carreras was having
difficulty getting the rhythms right. They even had to cut short the
recording one day that was delayed because he kept missing the rhythms
and had to do it several times. Maybe he was tired because the next day
he got it right the first time.
