It would be interesting (to a novice such as myself) to hear how a
clarinet is bored. I've heard the term 'reamer', which suggests a tool
that rotates, but I've wondered whether a reamer is a tool with a sharp
blade(s), or is it more akin to a grinding or polishing tool?
Words such as 'reverse cone' and 'polycylindrical' suggest drilling
a straight hole first and then grinding it in order to change the shape?
